The Zonta Club of Bradford once again opens its Sixteen Days of Activism campaign.
This campaign focuses on the continued problem of violence directed toward women and children. Opening on Nov. 25, (International Day of No Violence Against Women) the worldwide community instructs to build awareness of the issue through Dec. 10, (International Human Rights Day).
Interesting information will be shared each day on the Bradford Zonta Facebook page. As the club has done in the past, they are collecting items from various local clubs to donate to the YWCA shelter. Also, they will light up Main Street for the 16 days with an orange light in the windows of all participating businesses. Hull Electric donated the light bulbs.
