    BYBL Week 4 results

    With the BYBL season ending in just a few short weeks, the league headed into the fourth weekend of competition. Luciano Builders went undefeated and Penhills Resources showcased their offense with a one-sided blowout. Results from the fourth regular season weekend:

    Luciano Builders Red Raiders 36, McCourt Label Bonnies 29

    The Red Raiders opened their fourth week of play with a closely-contested win against the Bonnies. Blake Luciano led the scoring for the Red Raiders with 13, followed by Brady Pogue who ended the game with eight points. Jonah Bridge and Eli Haynoski both finished with four points.

    The Bonnies offense saw Daniel Close and Jaron Lohrman enter double-digit scoring performances. In the loss, Close collected 11 points with Lohrman right behind him with 10. The third leading scorer was Carter Jackson with four.

    The Bonnies junior varsity team avenged their varsity counterpart, beating the Red Raiders 7-2.

    Pennhills Resources Panthers 51, Bradford V.F.W. Tar Heels 27

    In their sole game of the weekend, the Panthers unleashed their offense, almost doubling their opponent on the scoreboard. Andrew Benson exploded offensively for a team-high 20 while Brayden Cook ended with 10 points and Ryan Nelson was the third Panther to finish in double-digits points with 10.

    Abram Kuhn got the green light for the Tar Heels in their loss, scraping together 13 points to lead the team on offense. Lucas Himes, Cooper Burns and Josh Woodhouse all scored four points.

    In a tight game on the junior varsity level, the Tar Heels beat the Panthers 13-10.

    Luciano Builders Red Raiders 33, Bradford V.F.W. Tar Heels 12

    The Red Raiders ended their weekend by once again scoring over 30 points against their opponent and coming out with a 2-0 record on the day. Coming off a 13-point game against the Bonnies, Blake Luciano led the team again in points with 21, while Brady Pogue and Braden Callahan scored four points.

    For the Tar Heels, field goals were hard to come by in the 21-point loss. Lucas Himes and M.J. Pristello both scored four points, while Cooper Burns and Abram Kuhn ended their final game of the weekend by each scoring two points.

    The junior varsity Red Raiders also won against the Tar Heels 8-5.

    McCourt Label

    Bonnies 23, Georgia-Pacific Jayhawks 11

    The Bonnies ended the day with a 1-1 record after beating the Jayhawks in the final game of the weekend. Jaron Lohrman led the Bonnies with nine points. Daniel Close and P.J. Stitt also contributed to the win with six points each.

    In the Jayhawks only game of the day, Owen Strotman led his team with five points. Cole Funk ended with four points and Evan Cook scored two points.

    The Bonnies junior varsity squad also got a win against the Jayhawks, securing a 14-11 victory to end the day.
