There will be a Service of Blessing of the Animals held at 10 a.m. this Saturday at the Episcopal Church of the Ascension, 26 Chautauqua Place in Bradford.
This brief service is held annually in honor of St. Francis of Assisi and is a time to give thanks for our companion animals and ask for special blessings on them.
The service will be held in the church parking lot and will conclude with treats for pets and their people. Please have pets on a lead/leash or in a carrier/cage as appropriate.
