PORT ALLEGANY — Evin Stauffer’s three goals led Port Allegany to a comfortable victory over Ridgway.
Olivia Schott and Kailey Bartlett each added a goal for Port, while Barlett had two assists, Schott had one assist and Lily Madison added one of her own. Emma Bienkowski scored Ridgway’s lone goal.
Brielle Budd and Jennifer Baxter combined for four saves in goal for Port. Sara Zameroski made three saves for Ridgway.
Port improved to 3-7 on the year.
BOYS SOCCER
Port Allegany 2, Brockway 1
BROCKWAY — Austin Hamilton and Alex Schott’s first-half goals were enough for Port Allegany, as United held on to beat Brockway.
Justin Dunn and Aidan Emerick each had an assist, while Jimmy Fremer scored Brockway’s lone goal. Aidan Clark made three saves in goal for Port and Jacob Maze made six saves for Brockway.
Port improved to 8-1 on the season.
JUNIOR VARSITY FOOTBALL
Bradford 6, Smethport 2
Andrew Giordano’s second-quarter touchdown stood the rest of the way for Bradford, which forced three turnovers in a victory over Smethport.
Giordano scored on a one-yard quarterback sneak. Aric Himes and AJ Lama each had an interception for Bradford — Lama’s sealed the game — and Jake Abers recovered a fumble while Jimmy Norcross recorded a sack.
