With five shows on the calendar this year, the Bradford Little Theatre is set for an amazing round of performances during their silver anniversary — 25 seasons on stage and they are still entertaining the Bradford community.
This is not the season for audiences to miss.
To start the season, BLT is excited to present for the 5th year in a row, the “Rocky Horror Picture Show,” shadow cast, will be presented at the Main Street Movie House. This performance takes place October 1. And then, a few weeks later, a blast from the past, “Little Shop of Horrors,” directed by Darren Litz, will take the stage at Togi’s Playhouse October 28-30.
Following, is a fractured fable coming to the Togi’s Playhouse stage, a family-friendly affair for all ages both on the stage and off. “Once Upon A Wolf,” directed by Kristin Asinger, takes the stage December 9-11.
And, for Valentine’s Day, a little interactive dinner theatre with “Tony and Tina’s Wedding” will be at Togi’s Playhouse and the Togi’s Blue Room on February 10, 11, 17, and 18. Asinger directs this one, and BLT describes it as a gift to the community that has been requested for years.
The final piece presented this year will take place May 12 and 13 at the Bradford Area High School auditorium. The mashed-up fairy tale musical favorite from Stephen Sondheim & James Lapine, “Into the Woods,” directed by William J. Steffen, and musically directed by Andrew R. Dutko is always a fan favorite.
