PORT ALLEGANY, Pa. — The 44th Annual Engine Show sponsored by the Allegheny Mountain Engine and Implement Association is set for this weekend at the club grounds on Route 155 South.
The show is Friday-Sunday, July 22-24, with demonstrations to begin at 9 a.m. each day.
On Friday and Saturday there will be Kiddie Tractor Pulls at 2 p.m. and home-cooked meals at 4 p.m., while on Saturday a White Elephant Auction is set for 6 p.m.
Music and games for children will be ongoing all weekend, with lots of engines running, both craft and flea market vendors and tractor parades. There will also be a mini quilt show in the Barnard Building, as well as a bake sale.
This year’s feature item is Hercules engine with the second feature being Anything to do with Rope.
AMEIA was formed for the purpose of preserving products of the past for future generations to enjoy. Areas of interest include oil field apparatus, agricultural equipment, lumber industry, road building equipment and domestic items.
