The Twin Tiers YMCA and Seneca Highlands IU9 will host Carnivalpalooza from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 21 in the Bradford YMCA parking lot.
This event is part of their 21 Century Program. The event is for kindergarten children through grade 12 and will feature a petting zoo, face paint, games, inflatables, balloon animals, and more.
Animals of the petting zoo will consist of goats, tortoises, prairie dogs, rabbits, chickens and hedgehogs, and were provided to the event by Michael Morton’s Sun-Dance-Kids Farm, of Conewango Valley, N.Y..
Games offered during the YMCA event will include dartboards, pie throwing, blow-up balloon ax throwing, inflatable slides, football, rocket launchers and more, which will offer lots of entertainment for area children.
Carnival type foods will be served during the event consisting of popcorn, snow cones, cotton candy and more.
This event is free to the public and celebrates the success of the YMCA’s after school program this year. There will be a Guidance Center booth and Alcohol and Drug Abuse Services booth.
