Each year cohorts of Leadership McKean work on a community project.

One of the groups identified a need for a cohesive community calendar for McKean County. This idea grew into “What’s Up McKean?” The group found out that the Bradford Area Chamber had a community calendar on their website, so the two are collaborating to create a countywide community calendar for posting events called “What’s Up McKean?”

The updated community calendar is live now on the Bradford Area Chamber of Commerce Website: www.bradfordchamber.com/event list. The calendar allows for fast event submission. Submitters will be directed to a form to complete to provide pertinent information for an event. Anyone in McKean County will be able to submit events. You do not need to be a member of the Bradford Area Chamber.

What events will qualify? Sporting events, band appearances, local business events, parades, community events, and much more!
