PORT ALLEGANY — In a true team offensive effort, 13 different players recorded a hit for Port Allegany in its win over Galeton.
Drew Evens, Tyler Fillhart and AJ Wiley each drove in two runs to lead the Gators’ 18-8, six-inning win on Friday. Evens and Noah Archer each had two hits, as Port scored six runs in the bottom of the 6th to prevent a Tiger comeback.
Evens got the win on the mound for Port, striking out five in two innings. Payton Spencer struck out two in an inning of relief before Jacob Causer punched out three in his three innings of work.
The Gators improved to 5-3 on the year and 4-1 in the Northern Allegheny League, trailing only Smethport (4-0).

St. Marys 10, Bradford 0, 5 inningsST . MARYS — St. Marys pounced early, and after scoring six runs in the 1st inning, strung more offense together to put Bradford away behind a strong pitching performance from Christian Coudriet.
Coudriet got the Dutch on the board with an RBI single in the first, setting up a two-run single by Vinny Lenze. Three consecutive walks then brought in three more St. Marys runs, as the Owls dug themselves an early hole.
Lenze, Tony Lewis and Logan Mosier each recorded two RBI for the Dutch, while Charlie Coudriet and Alex Vollmer each tacked on a hit and an RBI. Christian Coudriet struck out 11, allowing three hits and two walks along the way.
Matt Miller, Cam Austin and Ryan Ward accounted for Bradford’s three hits.

First Prep Christian (G.A.) 13, Smethport 4MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — Smethport concluded its Spring Training trip to Myrtle Beach with a loss to First Prep Christian of Georgia.
Alex Ognen and Travis Cooney each had two hits for Smethport, which dropped to 4-1 on the season. Cooney scored two runs, as well, while Preston Alfieri had an RBI single.
Caleb Harmon and Cameron Easton combined to strike out 15 Hubber batters.

Elk County Catholic 13, Cameron County 0, 5 inningsST. MARYS — Tommy Slay and Joe Tettis were each perfect at the plate for Elk County Catholic, combining for seven hits and six RBI in a commanding win over Cameron County.
Slay went 4-for-4, driving in two runs, while Tettis was 3-for-3 with four runs driven in. Dom Zambanini and David Anderson each added two hits for the Crusaders, whose six-run 4th put the game away.
Ryan Shaffer and Ben Paul combined for seven strikeouts for ECC, allowing just one hit. Maddox Baughman accounted for CC’s only hit.

Cowanesque Valley 10, Oswayo Valley 0, 6 inningsWESTFIELD — A four-run 3rd powered Cowanesque Valley’s offense, but starting pitcher Kade Sottolono didn’t need much help, as he and Mike Sipps two-hit Oswayo Valley.
Cayden Black and Nik Bonney each tallied a hit for OV (1-5). Bonney and Brayden Wiley combined to strike out four batters on the pitcher’s mound for the Green Wave.

Johnsonburg 5, Brockway 2BROCKWAY — Five players tallied two hits each, leading Johnsonburg past Brockway.
Camron Marciniak and Erik Panebianco combined for four strikeouts while scattering a combined seven hits and four walks while keeping Brockway’s offense at bay most of the way. Marciniak, Dom Allegretto, Kaden Dennis, Collin Porter and Caden Smiley each had two hits, meanwhile, to spur the Ram offense.
The Rams carried a 3-2 lead into the 6th, when Luke Zimmerman singled home Smiley. The Rovers got a run back in the bottom half of the frame, but Jburg countered with two insurance runs in its half of the 7th, as Porter and Smiley knocked back-to-back RBI singles.
Jburg improved to 4-1.

SOFTBALLSt. Marys 11, Bradford 1, 5 inningsST. MARYS — Two big innings plagued Bradford in the first leg of its Friday doubleheader, as St. Marys scored five runs in the 2nd and five more in the 5th to down the Lady Owls.
Lindsey Reiter, Sophia Benjamin and Kalani Clinger each had two hits to lead the Lady Dutch. Kendall Young got the win in the circle, striking out 10 in four innings.
Maddie Dougherty had Bradford’s lone hit and scored the team’s lone run on an errant pitch after stealing 2nd and 3rd.
Elk County Catholic 8, Bradford 1ST. MARYS — In a rematch of a lopsided Elk County Catholic victory, Bradford kept pace with the Lady Crusaders, but failed to muster offense amidst a dominant pitching performance from Emily Mourer.
Mourer struck out 10 Lady Owls over seven strong innings for ECC, allowing just four hits and no walks. Mourer also launched a solo home run.
Bradford’s lone run came in the 3rd, when Alanna Benson scored Carli Periscini on a bunt single. That run knotted the game at one, but from there, it was all ECC.
Caitlyn Vollmer had three hits and two RBI for the Lady Crusaders, while Syd Alexander added two hits, two walks and two runs scored. ECC scored two runs in the bottom half of the 3rd before tacking on three in the 4th and two more in the 6th.
Johnsonburg 10, Brockway 0, 6 inningsJOHNSONBURG — Natalie Dunworth, Julie Peterson and Zoey Grenthaner each had three hits to lead Johnsonburg over Brockway in dominant fashion.
Grenthaner, Peterson and Julia Jones each drove in two runs for the Ramettes, who put the game away with a five-run 6th inning. Jones struck out 12 batters over six innings of three-hit, shutout ball.
JUNIOR HIGH TRACKBradford 92, Elk County Catholic 54 (boys)Elk County Catholic 83, Bradford 54 (girls)Andrew Giordano quadrupled to lead the Fretz boys over Elk County Catholic, winning the shot put, discus and javelin while running a leg of Bradford’s 400-meter relay.
Logan Kohler won the 110 hurdles and 300 hurdles while Danny Marasco took home the long jump and triple jump, each doubling for Bradford. Marcus Terwilliger added a win in the 800 while Kaiden Kicior, Sean Ward and Matt DeCasper chipped in on the 400 relay.
Kendyll Cruz doubled to lead the Fretz girls, winning the 800 while running on the 3200 relay alongside Miley Swanson, Mackenzie Gomez and Kierstyn Taylor. Bradford claimed the 400 relay, as well, powered by the team of Rylee Corbett, Alyssa Mangold, Lindsey Rosenswier and Emma Pilon.
Addison Carter (long jump), Jayden Hogue (300 hurdles) and Jenna Bouquin (3200) each tacked on a win for Bradford, which will compete Wednesday at Kane.
