SHINGLEHOUSE — The Oswayo Valley Memorial Library has announced plans for December.
Looking ahead to the holidays, the library will be closed on Dec. 24 and 25 for the Christmas holiday and will close at 2 p.m. on Dec. 31 and remain closed for Jan. 1, 2022.
The library will be the spot to visit for a Holiday Portrait fundraiser by Fall in Love Photography. On Dec. 4 and 5, families can get photos with a Christmas-themed background.
Call Majorie at 814-697-7355 to register. Different packages are available, with the option to order more pictures on pickup day.
The Book Discussion Group meets at the library on the second Thursday of each month at 10:30 a.m. All are invited to participate. Books are provided by the Potter-Tioga Library System.
The library is also grateful to the Oswayo Valley High School Class of 1971 for donating money for the purchase of a new table for the children’s room.
