A Bradford man was arraigned Thursday on charges related to possession of more than 1,000 images of child pornography.

Gregory Fenstermaker, 55, of 118 Barbour St., was arraigned before District Magistrate Dominic Cercone and is facing 100 counts of child pornography, third-degree felonies; 100 counts of disseminating photos of child sex acts, third-degree felonies; one count of criminal use of a communication facility, first-degree felony; 100 counts of child pornography, second-degree felonies; and 100 counts of disseminating photos of child sex acts, second-degree felonies.

According to the criminal complaint, on May 5, 2020, Pennsylvania State Police received information from Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) concerning CyberTipline reports from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC). The reported information included details regarding files stored on Synchronoss Technologies (Verizon Cloud), which provides storage for photos, videos and documents.

A subpoena was issued to Verizon, which resulted in the release of the name of the account holder — Fenstermaker. Investigators found his address and state police served a search warrant at the residence of Fenstermaker and allegedly discovered more than 1,000 images of chid pornography on his computer and Verizon Cloud account. The images included children under the age of 13 as well as children 13-17, the complaint stated.

The complaint also stated that, after being read his Miranda rights, Fenstermaker allegedly told state police he had been viewing child pornography for “numerous years” and confirmed there were images on his cell phone.

State police also said that Fenstermaker’s email and phone number matched the subscriber information provided in the Cybertip.

A preliminary hearing has been scheduled before Cercone at 9 a.m. Dec. 1.
