BRYN MAWR — Aqua Pennsylvania announced the promotion of Zach Martin to area manager for its western Pennsylvania service area.
In his new role, Martin will oversee all operational and administrative duties in Aqua’s western division. This region includes 15 treatment facilities and serves about 70,000 people across nine counties.
Martin holds an associate degree in science from Kent State University, where he is currently working towards a bachelor’s degree in business management. He is also an Army National Guard veteran and served as an indirect fire infantryman during Operation Iraqi Freedom III. He holds multiple water and wastewater certifications in Ohio and Pennsylvania, and he was recently appointed Pennsylvania vice chair of the American Water Works Association for 2021.
