OLEAN, NY — The Olean Area Stamp Club will hold its 24th annual stamp and postcard show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 2.
The show will be held at Bethany Lutheran Church, 6 Leo Moss Drive, in Olean.
For the third year in a row, there will be an area dedicated for beginning and intermediate collectors to go through boxes of stamps. They can pick out what they want and it is all free, as a way of introducing new people to the hobby.
Members of the stamp club will also be available to answer questions, and dealers will be on hand to sell, buy and provide appraisals.
The Olean Stamp Club meets the second Monday of every month, except for January and February in the social hall of the church. Both beginning and experienced collectors travel from a 50-mile radius to attend.
