Farewell party set for Hernans

SMETHPORT — The United Methodist Church of Smethport will hold a farewell party for Pastor Rob Hernan and his family from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday at the pavilion by the baseball field at Hamlin Lake Park in Smethport.

Hernan has served the United Methodist Church of Smethport for 10 years and has also served the Crosby Church since 2017. He has accepted a new appointment at Belmont United Methodist Church in Johnstown beginning in July.

Everyone is welcome to attend. Light refreshments will be served.
