Bradford man Daniel Roach is in McKean County Jail, charged with the repeated rapes of a juvenile female in September 2019.
Roach, 45, is charged with six counts each of rape of a substantially impaired person and statutory sexual assault-more than 11 years older than the victim, all first-degree felonies; six counts of incest of a minor, second-degree felonies; five counts of corruption of minors, third-degree felonies; six counts of endangering the welfare of a child, first-degree misdemeanors; and six counts of indecent assault of a person less than 16, second-degree misdemeanors.
According to the criminal complaint, while Roach was living at the Econo Lodge on South Avenue at the cost of the county, he had sexual intercourse with a 15-year-old girl and provided her with methamphetamine.
He was arraigned before District Judge Rich Luther and remanded to jail in lieu of $300,000 bail. He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing June 2.
Roach has at least six other open criminal cases, five in McKean County and one in Venango County.
One of the cases in McKean County has more than 250 counts including rape, statutory sexual assault and drug charges; one alleges an attempt to escape from jail; another alleges threats toward police and Children and Youth Services workers; one alleges firing a gun in an occupied structure; and the other is a drug-related case, according to court records.
The Venango County case alleges Roach smuggled meth into a facility that offers residential and counseling services and giving the meth to minors, officials allege.
