The meeting of Take Off Pounds Sensibly #16 was held on Wednesday at The First Presbyterian Church at 54 E. Corydon St. at 2 p.m.
The meeting was called to order by Leader Vickie Johnson with the TOPS and KOPS pledge.
The song was “If You’re Happy and You Know It.”
Weight Recorder Carole VanSickle and Assistant Weight Recorder Barb Smead weighed in 14 members with a loss of 10.2 pounds, two staying the same, four for calories and four excused.
Best Loser of the Week is Elaine Harris, and Officer of the Week is Dianna Lewis.

The Fashion tip was by Dianne Lewis.
The Food chart was won by Theresa Bond.
Food to avoid is potato chips. The fruit is watermelon and the vegetable is carrots. Nickelodeon is gravy.
Weekly phone buddies were picked for the week.
The program was by Dianna Lewis with a speaker, Stacey Williams from Bradford Regional Medical Center with information about the Meals on Wheels program.
A business meeting was held.
The meeting was adjourned with the Friendship Circle and the TOPS Prayer.

Frances Sherman VFWA met for dinner, meeting and installation of 2021-22 officers.
Installing Officer Past President Debi Bigley installed the following officers: president, Amy Peterson; senior vice, Brenda Bloomgren; junior vice, Marilyn Thrush; treasurer, Kathy Belleville; secretary, Valerie Meacham; chaplain, Pat Crooks; conductress, Linda Rimer; guard, Pat Layton; chief of staff, Val Meacham/Kathy Belleville; three-year trustee, Karla Leone; two-year trustee, Judy Keyes; one-year trustee, Katie Kloss; patriotic instructor, Sue Langley; and historian, Marie Llewellyn.
The in-house scholarship winner is Paige Craig, granddaughter of Don and Sue Langley.
Bingo will be Sunday, June 6.
Regarding Memorial Day, Willowdale Cemetery services will be held on Sunday, May 30, at 11 a.m. Auxiliary members are to dress in colors — blue/white, black/white.
A drive-by parade will take place on Memorial Day on Campus Drive. Participants are to line up on the creek side, facing town, with cars to proceed towards Dorothy Lane from Barbour Street. No candy throwing. There will be flags to hand out to cars driving by. Parade will be at 10 a.m. and the service in Veterans Square at 11 a.m. Colors of the day will be Red/white/blue. Legion Post 108 will host the luncheon.
The next meeting will be July 21 at 7 p.m. June’s meeting is cancelled due to the convention.
