Otto-Eldred 13, Port Allegany 3, 5 innings
ELDRED —Otto-Eldred finished the season undefeated in Northern Allegheny League play Tuesday, routing Port Allegany in five innings.
Reilly Raught hit a solo home run, Edahlia Sebastian went 2-for-2 with a double and an RBI, while Kayley Heller went 4-for-4 with three doubles to help lead the O-E offense. Bri Heller went 2-for-3 with a double and three RBI to key the Lady Terrors (12-1) to victory. Also leading the offense were Katie Sheeler (2-for-3, triple, RBI), Suzie Rounsville (double, RBI) and Hannah Gordon (double, RBI).
Abby Wolfe and Bri Heller shared mound duties for O-E, striking out 10, walking one and allowing up three hits.
On the mound for Port Allegany were Kaylee Boyd and Marah Rush, who walked two and gave up 16 hits. Offensively for Port, Leigha Nelson went 1-for-2 with an RBI and Makayla Alcorn went 1-for-2 with a double and two RBI.

Oswayo Valley 9, Coudersport 8
SHINGLEHOUSE — Oswayo Valley edged Coudersport in a back-and-forth contest on Tuesday.
The Lady Green Wave (6-3) held a 4-1 lead through three innings before Coudy plated three runs in the fourth to tie it up. OV answered back with three runs of its own in the bottom of the fifth thanks to errors by the Lady Falcons (5-7). Coudy committed seven total errors during the game.
Trailing 9-5 going into the top of the seventh, Coudy rallied back with a two-run RBI single by Madyson Dubots-Angood and a sacrifice fly from Savannah Myers.
Dubots-Angood got into scoring position by stealing second, but Ava Wahlers lined out to right field to end the game.
Macy West led OV with two RBI and three runs scored, while Brooke George, Laya Phillips and Makenzie Mesler each recorded an RBI. George led the Lady Green Wave with two hits and scored two runs. West also pitched a complete game, allowing nine earned runs on 10 hits and a walk with six strikeouts.
Sierra Myers went 3-for-4 with an RBI for Coudy and Makenzie Gentzyel was 2-for-4 with an RBI. Dubots-Angood led the Lady Falcons with two RBI, while Savannah Myers and Ryelle Black combined to give up six earned runs on nine hits and five walks with four strikeouts.

GALETON — Smethport earned its first two wins of the season with a doubleheader sweep of Galeton.
Dani Nelson led the Lady Hubbers (2-9) in the first game, going 4-for-5 with a double and four RBI. Baylee Fitzsimmons added two hits and Celeste Baker went 2-for-4. Tylar Colley picked up the win on the mound for Smethport, recording seven strikeouts and six walks.
In game two, Nelson came through again at the plate, going 2-for-5 with a double, while Hope Peterson recorded a double.
Coryn McClain collected the win on the mound with seven hits and seven walks allowed to go with seven strikeouts.

Port Allegany 8, Otto-Eldred 3
ELDRED — Port Allegany avenged last month’s loss to O-E with a five-run victory over the Terrors on Tuesday.
The game was a pitcher’s duel through four innings as the teams went scoreless. The Gators (7-6) then scored two in the fifth and three in the sixth to take a 5-0 lead with a two-run RBI single by Isaiah Caden and three-run homer by Carter Moses.
Port then added three insurance runs in the top of the seventh with an RBI single from Blaine Moses and RBI doubles by Carter Moses and Logan Pesock.
Cole Sebastian hit a three-run homer for the Terrors in the bottom of the inning, but Drew Evens was able to seal the win for the Gators after that.
Carter Moses led Port with a game-high four RBI and went 2-for-4 at the plate, while Blaine Moses led the Gators with three hits.
Sawyer Prince earned the win on the mound after pitching six scoreless innings with nine strikeouts, allowing just two hits and three walks. Aside from the three-run homer by Sebastian, Evens recorded three strikeouts in his lone inning of work and allowed two hits.
Max Splain led O-E with two hits. On the mound, Jake Merry pitched five strong innings — striking out eight and allowing one earned run on five hits and a walk. Sebastian pitched two innings and surrendered five earned runs on six hits and a walk to go along with five strikeouts.
“Credit to Port, they made plays and had the timely hits and we did neither,” O-E coach Lance Baker said. “Sawyer had a great outing for them and kept our hitters off balance.”

ELDRED — Otto-Eldred rebounded from its loss to Port Allegany later in the evening with a blowout win over Cameron County.
Jake Merry led the way at the plate for O-E with four RBI, while Brendan Magee, Jacob Coffman and T.J. VanScoter each added two. Three other players for the Terrors (6-3) also recorded an RBI.
Max Splain pitched all five innings for O-E and tallied seven strikeouts while allowing just two hits, two walks and one run (unearned).
Eastyn Solveson scored the Red Raiders’ lone run.

GALETON — A quality pitching performance from Brandon Higley and timely offense led the way for Smethport in its 5-3 win over Galeton.
Brandon Higley struck out 14 batters in six innings on the mound, allowing just one earned run on five hits and a walk. Alex Ognen entered the game in the seventh and recorded two strikeouts to close out the game.
Ognen, Alex Cole and Kameron Rounsville each had an RBI. Rounsville’s RBI was a solo homer in the sixth inning, adding an insurance run for the Hubbers (5-4). Travis Cooney led the team with two hits.
For Galeton, Levi Evans tallied two RBI, while Tre Slawson led the team with two hits. Slawson also struck out 12 batters in 5.2 innings pitched, allowing four earned runs on six hits with two walks.
