ELDRED — Otto-Eldred remained undefeated and clinched the Northern Allegheny League title with an 11-1 victory over Oswayo Valley Wednesday in five innings.
Abby Wolfe and Bri Heller combined to no-hit the Lady Green Wave (4-3), with OV’s lone run coming in the first inning. Hannah Winseck batter reached first base on a walk and eventually scored on a fielder’s choice. Wolfe walked just two batters and struck out four in four innings, while Heller struck out two in one inning of work.
Katie Sheeler finished 1-for-2 at the plate for the Lady Terrors (11-0) with that lone hit being a two-run homer in the fifth, while Kayley Heller went 1-for-2 with a double. Edahlia Sebastian also added a two-run RBI single.
For OV, Macy West allowed five hits, five walks and recorded five strikeouts, while Makenzie Mesler struck out one batter and allowed one hit.
With the win, O-E is now 9-0 in the NAL.

Port Allegany 21, Galeton 10, 5 innings
GALETON — Eleven Port Allegany players recorded at least one RBI in the Gators’ 11-run win over Galeton.
Wednesday’s high-scoring affair saw Port Allegany take a 9-0 lead through two innings and score 12 runs over the next three innings. Galeton fought back with back-to-back four-run innings in the third and fourth, but the team’s deficit was too much to overcome.
Carter Moses led the Gators (6-6) with five RBI, while Blaine Moses, who hit his first career home run, finished behind him with three RBI.
Drew Benson, Drew Evens, Trey Ayers and Sawyer Prince each tallied two RBI. Ayers was also 4-for-5 at the plate, while Evens finished 3-for-5.
On the mound, Evens got the win and struck out five. He also allowed eight earned runs on eight hits and six walks in four innings. Benson pitched one inning and allowed one earned run on two hits.
For Galeton, Trey Kalacinski went 3-for-4 at the plate and led the team with five RBI, while Jake Cochran went 2-for-4 with two RBI. Levi Evans and Patrick Lehman each added an RBI for the Tigers (3-8).
Kalacinski and Cochran each allowed four earned runs on the mound and 17 total hits, while Galeton’s defense committed eight errors.
