PORT ALLEGANY — A.J. Redmond struck out six batters while allowing just two hits in a 10-1 victory over Port Allegany in six innings.
The Falcons (9-1) drove in seven runs in the first three innings to take early command of the ballgame. Ashton Huck drove in two runs on two hits in four plate appearances, while Garrett Kellert, Derek Easton and a host of others drove in one run on at least one hit.
Drew Evens and Carter Moses recorded Port Allegany’s lone hits. Evens recorded an RBI on a double after Drew Benson walked.
On the mound for the Gators, Sawyer Prince struck out eight and walked five while allowing all 10 runs. Carter Moses came on in relief and struck out one batter.

Bradford 12, Oswayo Valley 0, 5 innings
SHINGLEHOUSE — Bradford made its return to the diamond in dominating fashion after being out of action for two weeks due to Covid-19 protocols.
The Owls (4-4) plated 12 runs en route to a five-inning road win over Oswayo Valley.
Austen Davis went 2-for-3 for Bradford, while Mike Gow recorded a double and two RBI. Liam McKay also doubled and had an RBI.
“Our batters were very selective at the plate and were able to work the counts,” Bradford coach Eric Haynoski said.
On the mound, Cam Austin and Ashton Smith combined for 11 strikeouts and just one walk and one hit.
“The pitchers did real well,” Haynoski said. “They threw strikes and really pitched well after having a couple weeks off.”
For the Green Wave, Cayden Black allowed three earned runs on two hits with six strikeouts, while Caiden Goode allowed four earned runs with one strikeout.

SMETHPORT — The Smethport Hubbers (2-4) had 10 hits in a three-inning rout of Cameron County (0-7).
The Hubbers scored 11 in the first inning, one in the second and three in the third. Alex Cole went 3-for-3 at the plate with four RBI. He had two singles and a solo home run. Travis Cooney drove in two of his three runs on his lone hit of the contest, a single in the bottom of the first inning. Cole Szuba also finished 2-for-2.
Alex Ognen pitched all three innings for the Hubbers. He gave up just two hits and did not walk anyone while striking out eight. Lathan Reed and Maddox Baughman had the hits for Cameron County.
For Cameron County, Jessop Farabaugh gave up 11 runs, while Derek Cherry allowed four.

Otto-Eldred 11, Galeton 1, 5 innings
ELDRED — Cole Sebastian pitched five shutout innings and hit a grand slam to lead Otto-Eldred to a five-inning victory over Galeton.
Sebastian struck out eight and allowed just two hits during the afternoon and had just one at-bat during the game. That was when he hit his grand slam in the second inning to put the Terrors (5-2) up by six runs.
“Cole was Mr. Everything for us tonight,” O-E coach Lance Baker said. “Collectively, we’re doing what we need to stay on top of the league.”
Sebastian’s four RBI were second behind Jake Merry’s game-high five RBI. Merry went a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate with three singles and a triple.
Noah Shutt scored Galeton’s lone run during the loss and was one of two players who had a hit for the Tigers. The other was Gavin Sykora.
Sykora, Jake Cochran and Tre Slawson combined to allow 10 earned runs on 10 hits and seven walks to go along with seven total strikeouts.
With the win, O-E remains unbeaten at 5-0 in the Northern Allegheny League.

PORT ALLEGANY — After allowing nine runs through four innings, Coudersport (5-4) blanked Port Allegany in the final three innings en route to a 12-9 victory.
Ryelle Black started on the mound for the Falcons and gave up six runs in two innings. Kaylee VanWhy gave up the other three over the next two innings. It was Savannah Myers who came on to shut the door to keep the Gators off the board from the fifth inning on while striking out six batters and walking one.
The Falcons outscored the Gators 6-2 in the final four innings, and Myers led the way at the plate too. She drove in a team-high three runs over the course of her 3-for-4 hitting night, which included a two-run single in a six-run fourth inning. The Falcons had 17 hits for the game, and all but three of their runs counted as RBIs.
Four players drove in runs for the Gators, who were led offensively by Kayleigha Dowell. She had two hits in four plate appearances, including a triple, while driving in three runs.
On the mound for the Gators, Marah Rush surrendered 11 runs on 10 hits while striking out eight and walking five in five innings. Kaylee Boyd allowed one run on five hits.

ELDRED — Otto-Eldred continued its dominance on Monday, sweeping Galeton in a doubleheader and outscoring the team, 38-1.
In the first game, Abby Wolfe and Kate Rhinehart combined to throw 10 strikeouts in the Lady Terrors’ 14-1, five-inning victory. Wolfe and Rhinehart also did some damage at the plate. Wolfe went 2-for-3 with two triples and an RBI, while Rhinehart went 2-for-2 with a solo homer. Bri Heller also went 1-for-2 with a double and RBI.
For Galeton, Bailey Holleran went 1-for-2 with a single and scored the team’s only run.
In the second game, O-E throttled Galeton by a score of 24-0 in three innings.
Bri Heller threw a perfect three-inning game, striking out all nine batters she faced.
Edahlia Sebastian finished 2-for-2 for the Lady Terrors (10-0), while Taryn Thomas went 1-for-1 with two RBI. Wolfe added a triple, Heidi Gordon went 2-for-2 with two triples and Kaylee Rhinehart was 3-for-3.
