The City of Bradford Zoning Board approved a variance for 65 Davis and 74 Amm streets to be used commercially during a meeting Tuesday.
Both properties are owned by Curt Wallace. The building at 65 Davis Street was formerly a barber shop and hair salon. Because of the residential zoning of that area, the building can not be used for other commercial purposes without a variance.
However, the property is in close proximity to a busy area that is zoned for commercial use.
While there are no plans for 74 Amm Street, Wallace noted the purpose of acquiring the property was to potentially use it for commercial purposes.
The variance was passed unanimously.
