LEWIS RUN — A 17-year-old male and a 12-year-old male were arrested in connection with crashing a stolen vehicle into a structure in Smethport at 4:05 a.m. April 4.
Lewis Run-based state police said the car had been stolen from a Port Allegany residence, driven to Smethport and crashed into a residence at Emerald Isle.
After the crash, the juveniles fled the scene and attempted to walk back to a residence in Port Allegany when they were located by troopers and taken into custody. Both were transported to the state police barracks for further questioning.
The investigation is ongoing.
