FARM SHOW VISITORS: This year’s Pennsylvania Farm Show was virtual, and many of the 12.8 million Pennsylvanians opted to take part. During the eight-day show, 800,000 unique individuals utilized the links available on the show’s Facebook page, while 300,000 visited the Farm Show website.
“Cultivating tomorrow means continuing to share the stories of tenacious, innovative people who are tackling with grace and courage whatever nature, the marketplace, technology or the pandemic throws their way,” Agricultural Secretary Russell Redding said. “It was a privilege to share the stories of Pennsylvania throughout the 2021 Farm Show, and to highlight the ways we are continuing to grow that bright future together.”
Visitors got to see the behind-the-scenes details of life on eight Pennsylvania farms, had the chance to see 28 culinary demos and be part of 13 STEM demonstrations.
In addition, many live forums and discussions were available for those interested in taking part and discussing or debating many of the concerns and issues facing Pa farmers today.
