WARREN — Deerfield Behavioral Health of Warren, an affiliate of Journey Health System, appointed Kim Thurston, MS, MA, NCSP, as the new executive director.

She comes into the position with exceptional experience in the clinical and administrative fields of behavioral health.

“Kim brings a wealth of behavioral health experience into the new role as executive director of Deerfield. She has held various positions throughout her 22 years at Journey Health and I look forward to seeing what she is able to accomplish in her new role at Deerfield,” said Guy Signor, president and CEO of Journey Health System.

Thurston has served in the capacity of Clinical Services Consultant, School Psychology Pre-Doctoral Intern, Director of Quality Assurance/Compliance/Outcomes, Director of Community & Education Programs, Program Director-Community Division and Director of Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Services to name a few.

In addition, Deerfield promoted Sheri Greenland to the physician practice manager position. In her new role, Sheri will be responsible for the day-to-day functions of the Deerfield practices. She is a seasoned practice manager with Deerfield as well as other practice groups.

Deerfield has office locations in Bradford, Erie, Marienville, State College, Tionesta and Warren.
