The race for the State Representative for the 75th District unofficially had Mike Armanini in the lead as of The Era’s press time Tuesday.
According to the Pennsylvania Department of State’s website, Republican candidate Armanini had 25,076 votes to Democratic candidate Ryan Grimm’s 7,734.
With unofficial results from all 29 precincts in Elk County reported on the county’s website, Armanini received 12,844 of the votes cast, while Grimm received 3,667 votes.
In Clearfield County, Armanini received 12,700 votes to Grimm’s 3,610, according to results posted to the Pennsylvania Department of State’s website.
The 75th District includes both counties.
The seat is the one Rep. Matt Gabler, R-DuBois, is vacating.
