    Halloween events set throughout area

    Halloween is almost here, and this year’s events are spread out over Friday and Saturday. Remember to wear a cloth mask (but not under a costume mask) and practice social distancing while enjoying the fun this weekend.

    Friday

    • Bradford Trunk or Treat events:

    Anytime Fitness: 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the mall parking lot (1001 E. Main St.)

    Bradford YMCA: 5:45 p.m. to 7 p.m. in YMCA parking lot (59 Boylston St.)

    CAMERON COUNTY

    • Haunted House at the Emporium Moose Lodge, 6 — 10 p.m., $5 entrance fee

    POTTER COUNTY

    • Terrifying Trail! At The Austin Dam Memorial Park, 7:30 — 11 p.m.

    Hosted by Austin PRIDE Committee, the trail offers a terrifying stroll through a section of the Austin Dam Memorial Park, complete with ghosts and ghouls lurking around each turn, in every shadow, to show you their scariest scares. Do you have what it takes to keep your eyes open and make it to the end of the trail? A Halloween themed movie will be projected on the Dam as well. Donuts, cider, hot chocolate and snacks available for purchase. Ticket sales will be located at the Austin Dam Pavilion the nights of the event. CDC recommendations & State Guidelines will be adhered to. Sanitizing stations will be available.

    Saturday

    • Bradford City, Halloween trick-or-treat hours, 6 to 7:30 p.m.

    •Bradford Trunk-or-Treat events:

    Bright Beginnings: 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at 17 Derrick Rd.

    Open Arms/Bradford Alliance Church/DBBDA: 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Chambers Street

    • Bradford Township Halloween trick-or-treat hours will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Residents should leave their porch lights on during this time.

    • Bradford Manor Drive Thru Trick or Treat 2 — 3:30 p.m. Decorate kids, pets or cars for added fun. Cruise by for candy.

    • Foster Township, 6 to 7:30 p.m.

    • Lafayette Township, 6 to 7:30 p.m. Residents are asked to leave their porch lights on if they wish to participate. Participants are required to follow all COVID-19 safety measures.

    • Smethport Borough, 6 to 7:30 p.m.

    • Smethport Trunk or Treat, 6 p.m., hosted by the Smethport Fire Department Inc., in their parking lot

    • Otto Township Trunk or Treat, 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Otto Township Park

    • Kane

    2-4 p.m. — outdoor parade at the Lutheran Home at Kane: residents will have baskets of candy outside their windows, trick-or-treaters are encouraged to wear costumes and masks and take one piece of candy from each basket. Stop by each window and wave to the residents!

    4 — 5 p.m. — businesses will be handing out candy. Look for the pumpkin and ghost with “Business Trick-or-Treat” in the window.

    5 — 7:30 p.m. — Kane Community Center is holding an indoor trunk-or-treating event

    5:30-7:30 p.m. — trick-or-treating townwide in Kane; Kane First United Methodist Church is holding trunk-or-treat.

    • Mount Jewett

    Mount Jewett Rotary Club Halloween Parade, 5 p.m. along Main Street.

    Trunk-or-Treat, 5 to 7:30 p.m. Mount Jewett Volunteer Fire Department Parking Lot

    Hosted by MJ Hilltop Heritage Coalition / partnering with Mount Jewett United Methodist Church

    Traditional trick-or-treat will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. by porch light invitation.

    • Port Allegany

    — 2020 Fall Festival, Town Square Port Allegany, 12:30 – 3 p.m.

    The Halloween Parade will start at 12:30 at the Port Allegany High School, travel down Arnold Avenue, cross Main Street, turn left on Pearl St. and end at the square.

    Following the Parade, Trunk or Treat will open for families, and the fall festival will begin.

    • Ludlow, 6 to 7:30 p.m. Those who wish to participate are asked to turn on their porch lights.

    • Ludlow Haunted Trail ~ Wizard of Oz Massacre, 6:30 p.m.

    The trail will be located at Wildcat Park in Ludlow. There is a $5 entrance fee. Visitors are asked to enter through the back gate, about a quarter mile south of the main gate along Route 6. Watch for signs. Enter the back gate and turn right. Parking is in the field near Covered Bridge.

    CAMERON COUNTY

    • Emporium trick-or-treat, 6 — 8 p.m.

    POTTER COUNTY

    • Borough of Galeton, 6 to 8 p.m.

    • Roulette Township, from 6 to 8 p.m.

    • Shinglehouse 6 to 8 p.m.

    • Ulysses Borough, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

    • Coudersport Rotary Club Annual Halloween Parade, 2-4 p.m.

    The parade is hosted by Coudersport Rotary Club. Line up begins outside the Gunzburger Building at 2 p.m. The parade starts at 3 p.m. and goes up to the Coudersport Courthouse Square Gazebo for candy and costume prizes. Participants are asked to follow Covid-19 safety protocol.

    Trunk or treat, 4 p.m. Coudersport Borough office

    • Shinglehouse Harvest Party, Hosted by Crosstown Alliance, 5 to 8 p.m.

    Stop on by while you’re trick or treating to Shinglehouse’s Harvest Party.

    Full-size candy bars, fun games, hot coffee, cocoa, hot dogs, and more. It’s fun for the whole family to enjoy.

    ELK COUNTY

    • City of St. Mary’s Emergency Services Trick-or-Treat, 6 to 8 p.m. Watch for emergency vehicles with their lights on in your neighborhood. Come show them your costume to get a treat.

    • St. Marys, Trick or Treat Drive Thru, 4: 30 — 6 p.m.

    Memorial Park St. Marys — Join the St. Marys Rotary Club and the City of St. Marys Parks and Recreation in a COVID friendly Trick or Treat Drive Thru!

    Drive thru will begin in the upper parking lot of Memorial Park and exit by the Community Pool.

    • Weedville Trunk or Treat, 4-6 p.m. at Weedville Wesleyan Church

    CANCELED: Ridgway Trunk or Treat, Children’s Parade and Pet Parade
