SMETHPORT — Take Off Pounds Sensibly #623 met for its weekly meeting on Tuesday evening with weigh-ins at 4:30 p.m. at Chico’s Cafe and Bake Shoppe located at 101 W. Main St. in Smethport.
Twelve members weighed in with a loss of 12.6 pounds. Jayme was the best loser. Members are to stay away from chips.
The group’s Christmas party will be held the first Tuesday in December.
Amy handed out pedometers for the Stepping Contest, which will begin today and run until the end of the month. Participants will log in their steps every week.
Ami, Brenda and Ann tied in the Falling Leaves Contest. The club drew for the winner, who was Ami.
Ami announced that members are doing better on their weight loss, and she handed out a quiz for them to do called The Bottom Line.
