CAMP HILL — The Pennsylvania Parks and Forests Foundation (PPFF), the only non-profit whose mission is Pennsylvania’s state parks and forests, will host a free virtual “Lunch and Learn” session titled “Birdwatching” at noon today.
The live stream will be available on PPFF’s Facebook page and YouTube channel.
Guests for the discussion include Keith Russell, program manager for urban conservation for Audubon Pennsylvania and Margaret Brittingham, Ph.D., Professor of Wildlife Resources at Penn State Extension. Viewers will enjoy a discussion about the growing popularity of birdwatching, some thoughts on being a birdwatcher, and some tips for creating bird habitat at home and are encouraged to comment their questions for panelists during the program. The video will be available on Facebook and YouTube for future viewings.
“Birdwatching is an activity available to everyone,” said Marci Mowery, president of the Pennsylvania Parks and Forests Foundation. “We are excited to be able to share the expertise of the presenters with novice and seasoned birdwatchers alike.”
