A Kane woman pleaded guilty Thursday in McKean County Court to allegations that she ran over another person in a vehicle.
Devon J. Hulings, 29, pleaded guilty to charges of aggravated assault by vehicle and accident involving death or personal injury. According to District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer, on April 10, Hulings, who was operating a motor vehicle, ran over a woman, causing serious bodily injury. Hulings failed to stay at the scene and render aid.
Hulings will be sentenced Aug. 13.
Also in court on Thursday, Garrett Trimm, 20, of Port Allegany, pleaded guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct and summary charge. On April 8, Trimm subjected a female to physical contact, pushed her and threw bags of trash on her car, according to Assistant District Attorney Bridget Murphy. He will be sentenced Aug. 13.
Emily M. McCall, 30, of Bradford, pleaded guilty to a charge of receiving stolen property. Murphy said that on Nov. 22, McCall conspired to retain an American Express Card that belonged to somebody else. She will be sentenced Aug. 13.
The following people were accepted into the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition Program: Tyler G. Snyder, 20, of Kane, for DUI-controlled substance; William E. Smith, 47, of Bradford, David M. Quinn, 43, of Great Valley, N.Y., and Walter M. Miller, 66, of Bradford, all for DUI-alcohol; and Michelle L. Clegg, 50, of Orlando, Fla., for DUI-general impairment.
Several others appeared in court on Monday and Tuesday, court records indicate.
Michael A. Snyder, 31, of Ludlow, pleaded guilty to charges in two cases: in one case to simple assault and in the other to burglary and theft by unlawful taking. Court records filed at the time of Snyder’s arrest alleged that on Dec. 13, he threatened to kill his father with a baseball bat during an argument, and he threatened to kill his mother if she didn’t side with him in the argument; then, records alleged that between Jan 3-5, he entered a cabin on Getaway Lane, Wetmore Township, and took about $5,400 in cash. Snyder will be sentenced July 23.
Jeremy R. Bowen Jr., 22, of Bradford, will serve three to 18 months in McKean County Jail for charges of simple assault and possession of a controlled substance. On June 4, Bowen pleaded guilty to allegations that on Jan. 11 in Bradford, he threatened a man while displaying a firearm, and he possessed methamphetamine.
Cody B. Hauber, 28, of Eldred, will serve one day to 16 months in McKean County Jail with credit for one day of time served for a charge of simple assault. Court records filed at the time of his arrest alleged that Hauber assaulted his grandmother on May 9.
Kristen A. Moore, 37, of Bradford, will serve 18 days to one year in McKean County Jail and one year of probation for charges of loitering and prowling at night time, disorderly conduct and a summary charge. Moore pleaded guilty June 4 to allegations that on Nov. 30, she lingered around a house, and she was in public while under the influence of methamphetamine to a degree that she annoyed people in her vicinity; In addition to wandering around homes, she was wandering near vehicles, too.
William T. Puskar, 25, of Bradford, will serve one to nine months in McKean County Jail for charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Brandee R. Ross, 38, of DuBois, will serve one year of probation for a charge of retail theft. Ross pleaded guilty June 4 to allegations that on Dec. 13, she took items valued at $439 from the Walmart in Foster Brook.
Jedidiah J. Hardy, 26, of Bradford, will serve six months of probation with a period of restrictive sanctions for a charge of DUI-general impairment and summary charges.
Cheryl J. France, 51, of Bradford, will serve six months of probation for a charge of DUI-alcohol and a summary charge.
