Bradford Area High School has released a list of graduation speakers for its virtual ceremony at 7 p.m. on Thursday.
The commencement speaker will be Alec Pringle, who serves as the president of Keystone Real Group, LP, a fully integrated property management company that manages roughly $400 million of real estate assets in Pennsylvania.
Pringle is a committee member of TIDES, a support program for grieving children and the people who love them, and is a board member of The State College Downtown Improvement District and Reliance Bank of Altoona. He is also a member of the University of Pittsburgh Bradford Alumni Advisory Board.
Pringle received his MBA in finance from the University of Pittsburgh, JM Katz Graduate School of Business and his Bachelors Degree from Bucknell University in Civil Engineering.
He is also a licensed private pilot and the author of two books, “Mayday, Mayday, Mayday – How crashing an airplane made me a better manager” and his most recent publication, “Go to Your Room…and think about what you’ve done”, a memoir based his experiences growing up in Bradford and a thank you to his mother who endured the process of raising three boys on her own.
Pringle is currently living in State College with his wife Jodi.
For the student speakers, Ryan Miller will present the class introduction.
He is the son of Matthew and Rebecca Miller of Bradford. In high school, he took part in Boys Varsity Soccer (Captain, letter winner 3 years, two time D-9 champion), Envirothon Team (Captain), National Honor Society, Bradford Youth Soccer Program Coach, Bradford Youth Soccer Referee and Bradford United Soccer. His post-graduation plans include Lock Haven University with a major in biology.
The class address will be presented by Caleb Nuzzo. He is the son of Jason and Lori Nuzzo of Bradford. In high school, he took part in football, basketball, baseball (team captain), Student Council, Key Club, Peter Tutoring, National Honor Society (Vice-President), United Way Junior Ambassador, Special Olympics volunteer — bowling and basketball, Youth Baseball and Youth Basketball official, church ministry, and model for the Walk a Mile in Her Shoes initiative to bring awareness to domestic violence and sexual assault. After graduation, he plans to attend Slippery Rock University with a major in exercise science.
The class farewell will be presented by Elizabeth Miller, daughter of Robert and Rebecca Miller of Custer City. In school, she was involved in Girls’ Varsity Soccer (Co-captain, three year letter winner, two time D-9 champion), Student Council (Student Body President), National Honor Society, Track and Field, Yearbook Club, Jazz Band and Wind Ensemble. She plans to attend Clarion University of Pennsylvania with a major in speech pathology and audiology.
The top career and technical education student was Emma Webster, the daughter of Paul and Lisa Webster of Bradford. In school, she participated in Skills USA, Bradford YMCA Swim Team, National Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society, Student Council, and Homecoming Committee. She plans to attend Penn State Behrend to major in nursing.
