A Port Allegany man who faced sexual abuse charges in three cases has pleaded guilty.
A last-day-to-plea conference for Gage Ortiz-Rodriguez, 21, was held Thursday with officials from McKean County Court.
Rodriguez pleaded guilty to the following charges: two counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, three counts of sexual abuse of children, and one count each of photographing/filming depicting sex act, indecent assault and solicitation to commit sexual assault, according to District Attorney Stephanie Vettenberg-Shaffer.
Court records indicate the plea went before President Judge John Pavlock.
Between June 14, 2019, and Feb. 12, three criminal cases were filed against Rodriguez for allegations in Port Allegany Borough and Annin Township.
The criminal complaints previously filed in the cases alleged that between 2015 and 2019, Rodriguez had sexual contact with juveniles and directed the juveniles to take off their clothes and engage in sexual activity while he took photographs. The complaints indicated there were at least two victims.
Rodriguez remains incarcerated in McKean County jail. Sentencing is set for 1 p.m. July 30. He will have to undergo an assessment before the Sexual Offenders Assessment Board prior to sentencing.
Public Defender Philip Clabaugh is listed as Rodriguez’s attorney.
