SMETHPORT — During the shutdown of the McKean County Courthouse, the office of prothonotary and clerk of courts will be staffed by two personnel.

The office will continue to receive filings by mail, FedEx and email to llisadore@mckeancountypa.org; krwoods@mckeancountypa.org; or vmmadine@mckeancountypa.org

If there is a filing fee required, notify staff that it will be coming by mail or FedEx if filing by email. The fax machine is temporarily out of order.

If something must be filed in-person, call the office at 887-3270 to make an appointment. If there is a filing fee required, have the exact amount or a check available. The office cannot make change at this time.
