The Bradford Area Chamber of Commerce wants to help our local businesses and bring a little joy to a member at the same time.
Starting with today’s Eblast, The BACC will start a bi-weekly opportunity, during the Coronavirus pandemic, rewarding one lucky reader with a free lunch for up to 10 employees ($100 value) from one of the chamber’s many restaurant members.
“Our Eblast is full of important information for our members”, Susan Hughes, president of the chamber, mentioned. “We have collaborated with many different organizations including the US Chamber of Commerce, the Bradford office of economic and community development and the McKean County economic development office to provide up to date information for businesses and individuals that are experiencing threats during the current pandemic.”
The chamber hopes that its members will read the Eblasts that it sends on Tuesdays and Fridays.
“Our doors may be closed but our arms are opened wide,” said Shane Oschman, consultant for the chamber. “We want members to view the information we are sharing. And this is a way to support our struggling businesses while increasing our readership.”
Twenty-four hours after each Eblast issue, the chamber office will randomly choose a winner from any person that subscribes to and opens the Eblast. That person will then be contacted via email to set up a date and time for the order. The restaurant will also be chosen by random utilizing only member restaurants of the chamber. Hughes and Oschman will then personally deliver the meal to the winner along with a $25 gift certificate to be spent at a local chamber member store “S.O.S.”, Oschman added, “now is the time to Shop Our Stores!”.
Not an Eblast subscriber? “If you or your business is a member of the chamber”, Britt Watson, membership and marketing coordinator of the chamber added, “simply email me at membership@bradfordchamber.com. We want our members to know we are here, we’re informed and we are working for you.”
