After round nine in the chess league held at School Street Elementary School, Lang Surveying LLC’s team leads the junior varsity division by three points.

Tied for second are the teams of Dr. Mark Caminite, Prestige: Awards & Engraving, and the Williams Agency. Third place is held by Dr. Wojcik’s team.

The varsity division is still hotly contested. First through third is separated by only one point. Wood Chiropractic holds first; Prestige: Watch & Jewelry is in second, and Main Street Mercantile is in third.

Other team standings in the varsity division include E & M Engineers & Surveyors, Hennard Construction and Main Street Movie House, tied for fourth place; A Slice of the 80s, fifth place; and Mrs. Claudia Caminite, sixth place.

In the JV division, other team standings are Pharmacy at Union Square, fourth place; Tasta Pizza, fifth place; Burns & Burns, sixth place; Dexter’s Service Center, seventh place; Dr. Gonzalez, eighth place; Hamlin Bank, ninth place; and American Refining Group Inc., 10th place.
