DuBOIS — Karl Gangloff placed first in the 50 free and 500 free to lead the Bradford boys swimming team in a setback at DuBois.

Harris Bell earned the Owls third first-place finish of the night in the 200 IM. Bell later added a third-place finish in the 100 free. Ethan Little and Gerrit Randall-Klous finished third in the 100 back and 100 breast, respectively.

On the girls side, Julia Moini paced the Owls with a first-place finish in the 100 free. Moini also placed second in the 50 free. Emilie Reitler finished second in the 200 free and third in the 100 free, while Mallory Whitlow placed second in the 100 back. Abbie Nuzzo and Grace Dalton each collected a third-place finish for Bradford.

“The swimmers have been working hard in practice and are maintaining times,” Bradford coach Katrina Cibula said. “That is what we like to see at this point in the season. We had some nice races tonight from Harris Bell, Julia Moroni, Lea Letzgus and Aiden Wright.

The Owls are back in action on Monday at Brookville.
