What made you decide to become a first responder?
When I was 14 years old, my neighbor was a volunteer firefighter and inspired me to join the local volunteer fire department as a junior firefighter. I immediately fell in love with it.
Who is your favorite superhero or super villain and why?
My favorite superhero would have to be Spiderman because he helps people in need. Plus, he can climb walls without any climbing gear.
What is your favorite part of the job?
My favorite part of the job is helping people when they are having the worst day of their lives. The feeling of pride and accomplishment you experience after you were able to help someone is indescribable.
Tell us about your family and/or pets.
My family consists of my wife of 8 years, Lindsay Stowell, and our pets: dog, Lucy, and two cats, Nala and Boxer.
What is one thing you want the community to know about what you do?
One thing I think the community should know about being a Firefighter/EMT for Bradford City is that we train constantly and are always learning, but it is still one of the most rewarding jobs.
