WELLSBORO — The Endless Mountain Music Festival recently honored the sponsor of its music festival and a dark skies program at Cherry Springs State Park in Coudersport.
Cindy Long, EMMF executive director, recently presented Ron Minnick, Dominion Energy Transmission Inc.’s director of area operations, with an appreciation award for sponsoring the free evening concert “starring” the festival’s brass quintet along with a free dark skies program on July 28, 2019 at Cherry Springs State Park in West Branch Township, Potter County.
“The Dominion Energy Charitable Foundation is pleased to support this great event that provides a unique educational experience in nature for the entire family,” said Minnick. “This free program is a unique combination of an outstanding concert performed by international musicians and an exciting science program that uses telescopes to educate parents and their children about the galaxy, planets and stars.”
Open free to the public, the program is attended by families and adults of all ages. “We have been a proud supporter of the Endless Mountain Music Festival for many years and are inspired by the great work they are doing for our community,” Minnick said.
