DUKE CENTER — Otto-Eldred turned in a complete performance as the Lady Terrors cruised past Oswayo Valley, 59-16, in the opening round of the Randy Stebbins Memorial Tournament.
Reilly Raught scored a game-high 16 points — her second consecutive double-digit scoring performance — and added seven rebounds and three steals for O-E (3-0), and Katie Sheeler contributed 10 points.
Kayley Heller added six boards for O-E, and Haley Cousins racked up four steals.
O-E raced out to a 19-2 lead after the first quarter, and then pushed that advantage to 34-7 at halftime.
For Oswayo Valley (0-4), Jadyn Brabham had eight points.
The Lady Terrors now advance to the championship round of their own tournament. They face Portville today at 3 o’clock.
“We’ll find out how good we are when we play Portville,” Otto-Eldred head coach Shawn Gray said. “All of our girls played pretty well tonight. We fouled a little too much and didn’t rebound the way we wanted to, but we got the win. Portville will be a tough challenge.”
Oswayo Valley, meanwhile, faces Bradford today in the consolation round at noon in the Terror Dome.
