A Bradford man is in McKean County Jail for allegedly threatening to kill a woman and her children.
Todd William Hale, 28, of 2 Bushnell St., is charged with terroristic threats, a first-degree misdemeanor; and loitering and prowling at night, a third-degree misdemeanor.
According to court records, at 9 p.m. Sunday, Hale was outside a Bishop Street home banging on the doors and windows and yelling for the home’s female occupant to come outside. The female played voicemails for the police in which Hale threatened to kill her and her children and burn her house down, the criminal complaint stated.
Hale was arraigned Monday before District Judge David Engman and remanded to jail in lieu of $25,000 bail. He is scheduled to appear in Central Court on Thursday.
Little Valley, N.Y., man charged with criminal trespass
A Little Valley, N.Y., man is in McKean County Jail for allegedly breaking into a Cyclone residence to remove his possessions after he had been kicked out.
Anthony Ryan Bernardi, 21, of 9039 New Albion Road, is charged with criminal trespass, a second-degree felony, and criminal mischief, a summary offense.
According to the criminal complaint, on Monday, state police were called to a reported burglary at the Cyclone trailer park. The victim told police that Bernardi had been staying with him for a few days, but he had kicked him out. He told police that Bernardi went to his residence, tore the window screen, pushed the window open, went inside and removed only his belongings, the complaint read.
Bernardi was arraigned Monday before District Judge David Engman and remanded to jail on $5,000 bail. He is scheduled to appear in Central Court on Nov. 21.
Port Allegany man charged after alleged drunken ATV crash
An October all-terrain vehicle crash in Annin Township has landed a Port Allegany man in McKean County Jail.
Rexford E. Snyder, 62, of 16 Miles Lane, is charged with persons not to possess firearms, a second-degree felony; DUI; and numerous traffic summary offenses.
According to the criminal complaint, on Oct. 26, at the intersection of Two Mile Road and Gleason Hollow in Annin Township, Snyder rolled his ATV. A loaded handgun was found on Snyder at the scene. Police said Snyder smelled strongly of alcohol and was slurring his speech, and several beer cans had spilled out of a cooler on the ATV.
Police said the ATV was not registered or insured, that Snyder did not have a driver’s license because of a prior DUI and that he was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, the complaint alleged.
Snyder was arraigned Friday and remanded to jail in lieu of $10,000 bail. He is scheduled to appear in Central Court on Thursday.
