TOPS PA #1704

Three members of Take Off Pounds Sensibly #1704 met Thursday night at 6:45 p.m. in the Hooker Fulton building.

Lonnie was the Best Loser as well as the Officer of the Week. Members are to steer clear of sugary cereal and to add two days of resistance training to their exercise routine.

Dee will have the program next week, talking about her weight-loss journey.

BAHS Alumni Association

The recent meeting of the Bradford Area High School Alumni Association, held at the Model T Inn, had 18 members attending.

Reports were received from the banquet committee showing that reservations for the October event had already exceeded those for the 2018 dinner with more expected to come in. Membership applications/renewals continued to increase as well. Banquet arrangements were reviewed and all committee assignments confirmed.

The committee also completed final work on the Alumni Flea Market/Vendor Sale in October at Hill Memorial Church. Volunteer assignments were listed for both set-up and sale days. It was reported that a good number of donated goods had been promised and several vendors had reserved tables.
