DUKE CENTER — It was an anticipated match between the two top teams in the Northern Tier.

After claiming the first two games (25-23, 25-20), Oswayo Valley dropped two “overtime” sets (24-26, 25-27) before escaping with a 15-13 win in the fifth set to remain perfect in league play.

Oswayo Valley topped O-E in four sets when the two teams met in the beginning of the season, an improvement that Lady Terrors coach Fawn Miller is quite pleased with.
“Our girls played incredibly well,” the first-year coach said. “They really, really wanted this game but it just didn’t shake out. But I think the girls proved tonight that they are playoff material.”
