A Bradford man is in McKean County Jail after allegedly threatening to kill a woman in an alleged domestic incident.
Calvin L. Teeter III, 22, of 89 Davis St., lower apartment, is charged with terroristic threats, a first-degree misdemeanor; simple assault, a second-degree misdemeanor; and harassment, a summary charge.
According to the criminal complaint, at 12:17 a.m. Monday, a woman went to the Bradford City Police Station to report she was assaulted by her boyfriend. She explained that she came home to find Teeter and his friends smoking “ice” — a nickname for crystal methamphetamine — and told them all to leave.
They left, then came back to find the woman had packed Teeter’s belongings to give to him. His brother came down the hallway toward her, and Teeter jumped in between them, squeezed her left arm so tightly it left a bruise, grabbed her face with both hands, shook her head, called her an insulting name and told her he’ll “kill her right now,” the complaint stated.
She had to use all her strength to push Teeter off her, and he left the apartment, court records stated.
Teeter was committed to McKean County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail. He is scheduled to appear in Central Court on Thursday.
