A free backpack giveaway will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Community Life Center at Grace Lutheran Church.
The center, at 78 Mechanic St. in Bradford, will be teaming up with Open Arms Church, The Williams Agency and On the Side Books to make the event possible. Children must be present to receive a backpack and school supplies. The event is first-come, first-serve.
Hotdogs, water and chips will be provided for free as well.
