RIDGWAY — Ridgway-based state police report finding methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop on Saturday in Ridgway Township.
According to state police, at 8:34 p.m. Saturday on Wilcox Road/Old Klondike Road, police pulled over a car driven by Thomas Doan, 50, of Johnsonburg, for multiple traffic violations.
During the stop, police suspected that Doan was under the influence of a controlled substance. They searched the vehicle and found “a large amount of methamphetamine,” as well as marijuana, drug paraphernalia and “a large amount of U.S. currency,” a press release from police stated.
Doan was arraigned before District Judge James Martin and committed to Elk County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bail.
