SMETHPORT — A Kane man pleaded guilty Thursday in McKean County Court to methamphetamine-related allegations.
Brandon M. Nelson, 34, of Kane, entered the plea to charges of conspiracy to possess with the intent to deliver methamphetamine and recklessly endangering another person.
District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer said that on Aug. 3 in Kane, Nelson conspired with Erin Pruett to deliver 2.46 grams of meth; Also, he put a 5-year-old boy in danger by having meth around.
Nelson will be sentenced June 20.
Also in court, Frederick W. Angell II, 28, of Bradford, pleaded guilty to a charge of terroristic threats with a deadly weapon enhancement. According to Shaffer, on Sept. 26, Angell communicated a threat to a McKean County 911 dispatcher that if police officers came to his house, he would kill them. Angell possessed a .45-caliber handgun at his home. He will be sentenced Aug. 1.
Michael C. Anderson, 41, of Ridgway, pleaded guilty to charges of terroristic threats and resisting arrest. According to Shaffer, on Feb. 21, Anderson threatened to stab his mother and resisted arrest when police officers arrived. He will be sentenced June 20.
Christopher L. Ausherman, 50, of Bradford, pleaded guilty to charges of criminal trespassing and theft by unlawful taking. Between March 1 and March 25 in 2018, Ausherman broke into an unoccupied residence at 87 Kennedy St., Bradford, and stole items with a value of around $1,000, said Shaffer. He will be sentenced June 20.
Ted J. Buckley, 25, of Bradford, pleaded guilty to charges of simple assault, disorderly conduct and a summary charge. On March 24, Buckley, who was under the influence of alcohol and/or a controlled substances in a Bradford City parking lot, tried to hurt three men, striking one of them in the head, according to Assistant District Attorney Jerry Grill. Buckley will serve 68 days to one year in McKean County Jail with credit for 68 days of time served.
Shane A. Rice, 29, of Little Valley, N.Y. will serve two years of probation for a charge of retail theft. Rice pleaded guilty May 23 to allegations that on Aug. 20, he took $830.59 worth of merchandise from Walmart.
Anre Yohe, 52, of Bradford, will serve six months in the Intermediate Punishment Program for charges of DUI-alcohol.
The following people were accepted into the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition Program: Kelsey L. Carlson, 25, of Kane, for possession of a small amount of marijuana to distribute but not sell and possession of drug paraphernalia; Anthony W. Furman, 18, of Bradford, for possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia; Jeffery L. Perfect, 37, of Williamsville, N.Y., for DUI-alcohol and controlled substance; Katelyn M. Hall, 24, of Bradford, and Thomas K.A. Alcorn, 20, of Bradford, both for DUI-controlled substance; and Patricia M. Zeigler, 57, of Bradford, Leon E. Hakes III, 44, of Eldred, James D. Peters Sr., 61, of Bradford, Joel I. Golden, 59, of Kane, Elizabeth Morrone, 25, of Bradford, and Michael J. Gianas, 28, of Olean, N.Y., all for DUI-alcohol.
