RIDGWAY — A Thursday afternoon fire that occured in a Ridgway Township building has been ruled arson.
State police fire marshal Trooper Russell Stewart reported that at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, a fire broke out in a structure that was being demolished at 2130 Montmorenci Road. No one was injured.
State police and the Ridgway Fire Department investigated the fire and determined it to be arson, Stewart stated.
He did not say how much damage occurred or if there are any suspects in the case.
The investigation is ongoing.
