RIDGWAY — A 42-year-old Caucasian man is dead after being shot early Sunday morning at Cully’s bar in Ridgway, Elk County Coroner Michelle A. Muccio reported.
Muccio said the man died of “multiple gunshot wounds to the abdomen and chest.” The man’s identity was not released, nor was the identity of anyone who may have been involved.
Muccio said the man was taken for treatment to Penn Highlands Elk, and he was pronounced dead at 5:01 a.m. Sunday.

While the name of the alleged shooter was not released, the Pennsylvania online docket system indicates that charges were filed Sunday against Brian Allen Martin, 35, of Johnsonburg, for homicide allegations Sunday in Ridgway Borough.
The Era was unable to confirm that the charges against Martin stem from the shooting at Cully’s.
The following charges were filed against Martin in the Johnsonburg office of District Judge James Martin: criminal homicide, a first-degree felony; discharge of a firearm into an occupied structure, a third-degree felony; and recklessly endangering another person, a second-degree misdemeanor.
Officer John Gangloff of the Ridgway Borough Police Department is listed as the arresting officer. No attorney is listed for Brian Martin.
Court records did not indicate that Martin had been arraigned as of Sunday evening.
Elk County District Attorney Shawn McMahon did not return a call seeking information by press time Sunday.
An employee who answered the phone at the establishment was unable to comment Sunday afternoon. The person indicated the bar was temporarily closed on Sunday due to the investigation.
