WILLIAMSPORT — UPMC Susquehanna has added Abdalla M. Sholi, MD, as the new regional medical director for oncology.

As the regional director, Sholi will oversee the UPMC Hillman Cancer Centers in Williamsport and in Wellsboro, as well as UPMC Cole Patterson Cancer Center in Coudersport.

Sholi comes to UPMC Susquehanna with 15 years of experience as a medical oncologist in Dunmore and Honesdale. He received his medical degree from the University of Jordan in Amman, Jordan, and completed residencies in primary care and internal medicine at Scranton-Temple Residency Program. Sholi completed fellowship training in hematology and medical oncology at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Wauwatosa, Wisc.
