LareeSue Behan has announced her candidacy for the Republican nomination for Bradford Township supervisor in the May 21 primary.
Behan has been a Bradford Township resident for over 40 years. She graduated from Bradford Area High School in 1986 and from New Penn Beauty School in 1988. She has been the owner and operator of Moonan’s Auto Detailing on East Warren Road in Custer City for over 12 years.
Before and while owning Moonan’s Auto Detailing, she was employed for over 24 years by Zippo Manufacturing Co., where she was an active member of the Safety Committee. Behan also worked nights and weekends with her father, Larry Sperry, for his landscaping and lawn care business.
Behan is a hardworking individual, who not only cares for others, but gives them the respect they deserve. She is a wife, mother, stepmother, daughter, sister and business woman who puts the needs of her family members and customers first. She has hosted many fundraising events over the past 25 years to help the residents of the Bradford community.
With owning her own business, the knowledge she has acquired of being a leader, she has hired people from all walks of life. She has instilled in her employees respectful work ethics, which makes for a healthy and productive work environment.
Behan resides with her husband Frank at 1291 High St. in Bradford Township.
