KANE — All charges against a Kane attorney accused of causing a head-on collision that killed one and injured several others were bound to McKean County Court.
Marc W. Nuzzo, 42, of Wilkes Barre, appeared for a three-hour preliminary hearing Monday afternoon before District Judge David Engman at his office in Kane.
Investigators say that on the evening of Sept. 5, Nuzzo was driving south on U.S. Route 219 in Hamlin Township, when he crossed the double-yellow line into the northbound lane to pass a tractor-trailer, striking a sport utility vehicle driven by Stanley “Guy” Austin of Bradford.
Austin, who was seriously injured in the accident, died Sept. 20 from complications related to his injuries. Others were injured in the crash, too, including Nuzzo. There were five passengers in Austin’s SUV.
