On June 8, 12 organizations and individuals will be official presenters at the free Walk on the Wild Side nature youth event on the Clarion-Little Toby Rail Trail in Ridgway. This year’s presenters are Allegheny National Forest, Pennsylvania Game Commission, PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Western Pennsylvania Conservancy, Penn State Extension, 4-H, Elkland Search & Rescue, Pennsylvania Fish & Boat, St. Marys Sportsmen Club, Toby Creek Watershed Association and other local individuals. Walk on the Wild Side will be open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 8 at the Ridgway Trailhead on Water Street behind NAPA Auto. Activities include the presenters’ stands, a nature scavenger hunt on the trail and a wild youth “Nature Raffle.” There is no entry fee but donations for trail maintenance will be accepted.
